Webinar: The importance of cell segmentation in image analysis

SUMMARY

The task of accurate cell segmentation is essential for cellular biology and single-cell analysis. Integrating deep learning to image analysis allows robust and reliable detection of structures, which due to a high natural heterogeneity have been challenging to detect with only machine learning.

As part of ImaBiotech’s webinar series, Amandine Gerstenberg from ImaBiotech’s Digital Pathology team will discuss the use of Fluidigm’s Hyperion (Imaging Mass Cytometry services) platform, combined with image analysis in identifying specific proteins, determining the spatial distribution of immune cells to investigate immune evasion mechanisms and discovering potential biomarkers to assess mechanisms of action and predict response to a given treatment. This webinar will also highlight the advantage of using such high multiplex immunohistochemistry platform in routine analysis to obtain faster throughput in a GLP environment.
