ImaBiotech’s new chemist: Jordan Lerach
Dr. Jordan Lerach is a Chemist whose expertise lies in analytical instrumentation – particularly mass spectrometry. Prior to joining ImaBiotech, Jordan worked at Penn State’s Materials Characterization Laboratory as a Research Associate where he utilized imaging secondary ion mass spectrometry to study a wide variety of materials. While there he lead pioneering efforts in sample preparation and the analysis of mammallian, insect and plant tissues.
He spent most of his Ph.D. research (The Pennsylvania State University, PA, USA) modifying experimental design and instrument functionality to enhance the sensitivity and applicability of imaging mass spectrometry. Prior to Penn State, his research (M.S. Youngstown State University, OH, USA) relied heavily on characterization with high resolution mass spectrometry, GC, LC and a variety of spectroscopies. His well-rounded analytical portfolio allows him to thrive when dealing with particularly challenging research.
Jordan joined ImaBiotech in the early Spring ’18.
